Keywords
How do you guys determine the best keywords to get traffic to your site(s)? Free copy of Just North of Luck to one lucky commenter.
Susan, Thanks to another writer friend, I realized that the keywords I was using were too broad - mystery, suspense, etc. I now use Cincinnati mystery, Irish main character and serial killer to name a few. I'm not sure if that's getting me more traffic but it's got to be better than what I was doing. By the way, I finished reading "Sin Creek" last night. An incredible book! I loved the novel and the Cape Fear River/Wilmington setting drew me in, especially since I visited the area two years ago. Good keywords?
Hey, Patricia. Thanks for weighing in on this important issue. I'm so glad you enjoyed Sin Creek. It was a difficult book to write but I felt it necessary to tell that story. Killing one of my favorite characters hurt me terribly, though I knew it was for the best. I can't tell you how many times I sobbed while editing. I hope I got the message out there about being an organ donor. Wilmington is a gorgeous place.
